Join us for the Relaxed Performance of The Woman in Black presented by the Royal Canadian Theatre Company in partnership with the Massey Theatre Society.
We want to make a more welcoming space for those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, anxiety or anything that may make seeing a live performance difficult, we offer our tickets at half price, the audience lights are dimmed instead of dark, music and sound are quieter and the doors to the theatre are open if you feel the need to leave the space at any time. We are also offering ASL interpretation for the D/deaf and hard of hearing community and for anyone who uses ASL.
About the Show:
The Woman in Black is a dramatic thriller adapted for the stage by Stephen Mallatratt, from the best-selling novella by Susan Hill.
Arthur Kipps engages a skeptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul. As the two men reach further into Kipp’s darkest memories, the borders between make believe and reality begin to blur and the flesh begins to creep. This show is suitable for children 12+.
Content Warning: Spooky or frightening moments, possible jump scares, fog, and implied child death.
