Ateeq Awan, M.A., BCBA
Behaviour Consultant
I have spent the past 7-years working with both children and adults with a wide range of developmental disabilities (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, down syndrome, etc.). I have extensive experience writing Behaviour Support Plans and Crisis Prevention Plans as I have supported many individuals with complex challenging behaviours (e.g., aggression, self-injury).
I also have experience providing ABA-based training to families, behaviour interventionists, as well as group home staff in both 1-1 and group formats. In the last year I also co-founded a respite agency called Behaviour Support Network that is currently operating in Toronto.
*Please note that although I am located in Surrey, I am open to traveling outside the area for families that fit my scope of practice.
