Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments: age 6+, adolescents and adults. An autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessment is a specialist type of one-on-one assessment administered by a trained psychologist, following the assessment requirements of the BC Autism Assessment Network (BCAAN). This assessment involves a standardized battery measuring cognitive, intellectual and adaptive functioning, as well as traits of autism spectrum disorder. These standardized tests are combined with clinical interviews, observations, and review of historical records to help understand you or your child’s symptoms. If criteria are met, a formal diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder will be given.

We’re all about celebrating what makes us unique, and we believe in the beautiful diversity of our minds and hearts. Offering specialized counselling services designed to assist those who identify as neurodivergent, our practice reaches out to children, teenagers, and parents affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Additionally, we are an approved service provider with The Autism Funding Unit and able to direct bill.
