Amasa offers Spring, Summer, and Fall camps which are our ministry of reaching adults (age 19-80 yrs) with diverse abilities (physical and/or intellectual challenges) with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Spring and Fall weekend camps are located at Gardom Lake Bible Camp in Enderby BC. The summer week camps are located at Elk Canoe Camp in Salmon Arm, BC. We have plans in June 2025 to expand to offer a week of summer camp at Elk Grove in Aldergrove BC and in 2026 to add a week of summer camp in Northern BC (location still to be determined). Although our camps are overnight for campers who are mostly independent in their care, we do offer day camps in the summer for those who are not ready yet to stay overnight at camp and weekend camps so they can try it out for a couple of nights first. Spaces are limited! Yes, we have had much success with non-verbal ASD adults who have behavioral support. Call/email us to send you our Summer or Weekend Camp Social Story for review.
