About Social Diversity for Children Foundation 

Social Diversity for Children Foundation (SDC) is a registered charity that empowers youth to empower children with disabilities. We conduct recreational programs for children with disabilities.

About Summer 2024 Programs

We are happy to announce that the registrations for our Summer 2024 Term are now open! We are offering several  online and in-person programs  this summer for our junior (9 and under) and senior (10 and up) participants. Our online programs include: Building Bridges with Music and Education and Education Through Creativity. Our in-person programs include: Education Through Creativity, Drama for Diversity, K-Pop Dance for Body Literacy, Education Through Virtual Reality and MPM/Jelic Math Program in partnership with Quantum Academy. We are also offering K-Pop Dance for Body Literacy and Education Through Creativity In-Person Camps for children aged 8 and up.

Duration, Dates and Times 

All of our terms are 8 weeks long. Our Summer term begins on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 and ends on Saturday, August 31st, 2024. The days and times of each program can be found on our website. 

Location

We offer both Online and In-Person programs for our participants. Our online classes are offered on Zoom. Our In-Person Programs are offered in Multiple Locations within the Lower Mainland. Exact Locations of our programs can be found on our registration page on our website. 

Cost

The costs of our programs vary depending on the type of program. Following is the list of costs for all our programs. 

  • MPM/Jelic classes are $300 per term ($37.50/class)
  • K pop classes are $160 per term ($20/class)
  • All other weekly classes are $130 ($16.25/class)

At SDC, we recognize that accessing recreational programs and services for children with  disabilities can be a financial burden and some families are unable to access these types of services due to financial hardship. Thus, as a not-for-profit organization, we strive to reduce financial hardships for families wanting to access our programs. To make our programs financially accessible we offer multiple subsidies due to our fundraising efforts and also accept Autism Funding. Furthermore, we are also offering a 100% off unique coupon code to all members and readers of Autism Community Training for any one of our programs.
